1. Who we are

This app ("Momentum") is operated by Tek ("we", "us", "our"). Tek is the data controller for personal data processed through the app. Contact: via the in-app support channel.

2. Personal data we collect

Account data: email address, name, authentication identifiers (including Google sign-in ID when used).
Product data: habits, completion logs, preferences, and any content you enter.
Usage & device data: IP address, browser/device identifiers, log data, and basic telemetry required for security and product improvement.
Support data: messages you send us.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Providing the service, account creation and authentication — contract performance.
Security, fraud prevention, service integrity — legitimate interests.
Product improvement and analytics — legitimate interests.
Customer support — contract performance / legitimate interests.
Legal and tax obligations — legal obligation.

4. Data sharing

We share personal data only with:

Service providers / subprocessors — hosting, database, and authentication providers used to deliver the app.
Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle") — our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all payment processing, subscription management, invoicing, tax compliance, and fraud checks for purchases in the app.
Professional advisers (legal, accounting) when necessary.
Authorities where required by law.

5. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes above, and delete or anonymise it when no longer needed. Account data is deleted on account closure request, subject to legal retention obligations.

6. International transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the UK/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing of your personal data, and withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. UK/EEA users have the right to lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority. We aim to respond within one month.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege database policies, to protect personal data.

9. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember preferences. We do not run advertising cookies. Where analytics cookies are used, you can manage them via your browser settings.

We may update this notice from time to time; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision.
